WHEN NOTHING ELSE WORKS, BLAME THE DEAD BLACK VICTIM FOR HIS DEATH…

​There was a hearing today in preparation for the murder trial of Gregory McMichael, Travis McMichael and William "Roddie" Bryan, Jr. the racists charged with murdering Ahmaud Arbery.

Defense attorneys for the Georgia men charged want a judge to allow them to introduce evidence showing Arbery had several run-ins with law enforcement in the years before his February 2020 fatal shooting. At a pre-trial motions hearing in Glynn County court Wednesday, the defense called a series of law enforcement officials who described Arbery as agitated and hostile during encounters over shoplifting and trespassing incidents.

A Cobb County prosecutor strongly objected to allowing the evidence at the October trial, calling it irrelevant because Travis McMichael and his father Gregory McMichael had no knowledge of the incidents when they armed themselves and pursued Arbery through their Brunswick neighborhood. "The only purpose for placing the 'other acts' of Mr. Arbery before jury is to is to smear the character of Mr. Arbery and suggest that his murder was deserved," prosecutors wrote in a court filing.

THIS IS “OLD AS DIRT.”

Smear the victim, especially when it is a Black male, to make it appear that all Black males have “aggressive and hostile attitudes,” and they also have “mental problems” which put White people at risk. So Ahmaud Arbery “MUST HAVE” DONE SOMETHING TO BE RESPONSIBLE for being shot 3 times with a shotgun.
Yet, no one looks at the racist behavior of Racist Whites whose attitudes ARE Aggressive and Hostile towards Blacks.

William Bryan, one of the defendants, told police Travis McMichael, also one of the defendants, said "f***ing n***er" after three blasts from his shotgun left Arbery dead in the street in the Satilla Shores neighborhood in February, GBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge Richard Dial testified. Body camera footage also showed a Confederate flag sticker on the toolbox of McMichael's truck, he said.

On cross-examination, Dial testified Bryan mentioned the slur in a May 13, 2020 GBI interview. Dial said there were "numerous times" on social media and via messaging services that Travis McMichael used racial slurs, once messaging someone that he loved his job because there "weren't any N-words anywhere."

In another instance, sometime before the shooting, he replied in an Instagram message that things would be better if someone had "blown that N-word's head off," Dial testified.
When there is a Black victim, killed by a White person, the White defense is ALWAYS to blame the Black person for his or her death. “They are Black. They must be responsible.”
