Some pundits and some media types say the scenes in Washington DC today do not represent America. I disagree. The scenes in Washington DC today represent exactly WHO and WHAT Racist America is and has been. America is a Racist and a Violent country. Today was just another example.  JAMES BALDWIN-"To be 'Black' (my substitution-Baldwin's original word, given the time, was "Negro.") in this country and to be relatively conscious, is to be in a state of rage almost all of the time — and in one's work. And part of the rage is this: It isn't only what is happening to you. The cabinet and VP can and should invoke the 25th Amendment TODAY. And there should be criminal investigations and prosecutions. Justice demands accountability." Merkley's office was ransacked and a laptop was stolen. His office was not the only one ransacked by the mob. A member of the rioters was photographed sitting at a desk in Speaker Nancy Pelosi's suite of offices, an American flag draped on a desk behind him. Rioters flipped over tables and tore down photographs from the walls. According to MSNBC, the plaque above her door symbolizing her position was also stolen by insurrectionists. You can parse words all you want about the White Racist rioting insurrectionists Wednesday, January 6, 2021 in Washington DC ...and you can talk about how abysmal it was that this "crowd" tried to disrupt the certification of votes for the next President...and their wreaking havoc on Washington DC ...and how law enforcement "rose to the occasion" ... bottom line, law enforcement did not do its job today-law enforcement did a sorry job-and did not "rise to the occasion" because these Racist domestic terrorist rioters, not protesters, were not treated as RACIST DOMESTIC TERRORIST RIOTERS. THEY WERE TREATED AS PRIVILEGED WHITES...PURE AND SIMPLE..     JOE BIDEN: "No one can tell me that if it had been a group of Black Lives Matter protesting yesterday, they wouldn't have been treated very very differently than the mob of thugs that stormed the Capitol. We all know that's true. And it is unacceptable. Totally unacceptable. The American people saw it in plain view and I hope it sensitized them to what we have to do."
In contrast to Black Lives Matter protesters who were teargassed in venues like Lafayette Square last June, the vast majority of the trump Racist supporters who stormed the Capitol were allowed to walk free and were not confronted by a large police presence. AMERIKKKA. The Struggle Continues! donald trump tweeted he will not attend President Joe Biden's Inauguration. Whoop-de-doo.
It is historically significant that andrew johnson, the last president who did not attend his successor's (President Ulysses S Grant was his successor) inauguration was... a slavery supporter...a Confederacy sympathizer...and a once impeached Racist who became president upon the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. What we have in Racist donald trump is simply-pun intended-just another garden variety Racist in presidential clothing. History repeats itself. European allies of the US believe that the Capitol riot was not spontaneous and that trump attempted a coup with help from some inside law enforcement. What is critical and disgusting about this news report is America's allies think this about a sitting American president.
For those who are not too blind to see and who are not too Racist to understand...and for those who could have and should have listened to Black folks for many decades...
America has a domestic terrorist problem, and has had a domestic terrorist problem for centuries...America has a Racism problem, and has had a Racism problem for centuries...and America has a Racist problem, and has had a Racist problem for centuries. America now has to deal with its Incomplete, Dishonest and Racist American History ...which has also been a problem for centuries. The Struggle Continues! Law enforcement did not want a show of heavy enforcement support in the face of the White Racists who came to Washington to support their Racist president. They did not want them to feel as if the Capitol police thought they were there to cause violence and mayhem... which they were there to cause. Can you say Insurrection?
Capitol police had to know trump would not approve the National Guard to confront his Racist friends. Yet everybody with a uniform was on display in full police and military might for the "real protests and protests only" by Black Lives Matter this summer. So the White folks figured since these election results "protesters" are White, they certainly WILL NOT attack the Capitol. Only the "Coloreds" would do that. Whites are not violent like the Coloreds. Whites believe in democracy and the Coloreds do not. WHITES just want to protest and show their dissatisfaction with the election process. Bottom line...these were deadly White Racist domestic terrorists and they were not treated as deadly Racist domestic terrorists because THEY WERE WHITE! ONCE AGAIN, IT IS CALLED WHITE RACISM AND WHITE PRIVILEGE, and it was all captured in Living Black and White. |
