     YOU created slavery. YOU created racism. YOU seceded from the United States of America to form an enemy government, called the Confederacy, and fought a war to maintain slavery, so YOU could continue to Profit from a Free Labor Economy. YOU lost that war. YET, YOU WERE STILL allowed to erect confederate monuments to show YOUR hatred and divisiveness and YOUR insistence on parading YOUR Christian White American Racism. YOU passed laws to keep me and those who look like me in "OUR PLACE." YOU elected racists, and racist presidents, to help you revert to those days when VIOLENCE was the answer to the Civil Rights Movement. WE Challenge the visible symbols of the confederacy in public places and question why YOU continue to lie about, celebrate and revere the leaders of the racist confederate cause. I know I ask this question from time to time, but, it is always topical and appropriate, so here goes again-
Why would a Black person join, represent, and run for political office, as a pawn of the racist trump Republicant party? What is it about your integrity do you not respect, and what is it about your Black history do you not believe? White folks, you all are funny, in a negative way.
You vote for and elect racists thinking they will only do their racist thing against me and those who look like me, and y'all get upset when your favorite "White racist of the month" goes after White women's rights after they told you they would, and also go after education-i.e.- banning books, packing school boards with anti-public education racists, giving away tax payer money to private schools, not what you expected, eh? What can go wrong when you put your trust in racists governors and racist presidents? In a blistering opinion piece from the Wall Street Journal on Saturday morning, the editorial board hammered House Republicans for turning their takeover of the House in the midterms election into a circus as members battle over who will be the new Speaker. With their slim majority margin -- due in great part to the failure of the so-called "red wave" to materialize in the November midterm election -- presumptive new Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is finding it impossible to get the 218 votes he needs to move on from being House Minority Leader. As the WSJ editors point out, there is little difference in the policies espoused by McCarthy and his detractors and the battle is not only a waste of time but evidence that the House Republicans are bound and determined to screw up their success at becoming the House majority. In a word, the editors called un-named GOP House members "dimwitted." After writing, "A handful of other backbenchers say they’ll also oppose Mr. McCarthy, which could lead to multiple ballots and perhaps even a Democratic Speaker," the editors added, "What’s bizarre is that the dissenters don’t have major policy differences with Mr. McCarthy or a plausible alternative candidate for Speaker. Mr. Biggs has no chance. He and his rump group also don’t seem to have any constructive reason to oppose Mr. McCarthy beyond a desire to grab the media spotlight or blow everything up." They continued, "... a narrow GOP majority of only 222-213 requires a leader who can enforce discipline. That’s how Nancy Pelosi has been able to govern with the mirror-image majority in the last two years. Too many House Republicans are too dimwitted to understand the uses of power and how to wield it. They’d rather rage against the machine to no useful effect." Also swept up in the WSJ editorial attack are the Republicans in the Senate who are working on an omnibus deal with the Democrats that the editors said is not helping McCarthy's cause. "[Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell and the Senate GOP don’t trust that Mr. McCarthy can deliver in January, or so they say. They won’t even give him the chance," they wrote before adding, "Senate Democrats and the White House will have a united front and could roll over a divided GOP." RACIST REPUBLICANTS DOING WHAT THEY DO. A racist tourist, desperate for water, was plodding through the African desert, lost and separated from other racist tourists, when he saw something far off in the distance.
Hoping to find water, he hurried toward the mirage, only to find a very frail little old Black man standing at a small makeshift display rack - selling ties. The racist asked in his expected arrogant and demeaning way, "Do you have water?" The Black man replied, "I have no water. Would you like to buy a tie? They are only $5." The racist shouted hysterically, displaying his lexicon of racist epithets, " Bleeping Idiot! I do not need a tie. I don’t wear ties anyway. donald trump does. We support him but we do not wear ties. I need water!" "Sorry, I have none, just ties - pure silk, and only $5." "To Hell with your ties! I should wrap one around your scrawny little bleeping neck and choke the life out of you, but I must conserve my energy and find water!" "Okay," said the little old Black man. "It does not matter that you do not want to buy a tie from me, or that you hate me, threaten my life, and call me the names that you usually call those who look like me. I will show you that I am bigger than any of that. If you continue over that hill to the east for about two miles, you will find a restaurant. It has the finest food and all the ice-cold water you need. Go In Peace." Shouting Racial epithets at him again, the racist staggered away, over the hill. Several hours later, he crawled back, almost dead, and gasped, "They won't let me in without a tie..." You never can tell where you might get your best advice! IT IS AMAZING, BUT NOT SURPRISING, WHAT A " MELL OF A HESS" this Democratic country is in today, because racist White America decided to elect a slovenly, incompetent, narcissistic, scandal ridden, self-serving, criminal racist donald trump as president, who after he lost his re-election, instigated an insurrection by his racist followers to try and overthrow the United States and American Democracy in the process; AND ALL THIS AFTER 8 notable noteworthy years of a distinguished, exceptional, respected, respectable, remarkable scandal free Barack Obama and a Barack Obama Administration. And many ask, "How did we get to this place?"  ENACTING RACIST LAWS, THEN AS NOW, BECAUSE THEY COULD. South Carolina Enacts Law Requiring Contracts to Refer to White People as "Masters." On December 19, 1865, South Carolina passed a law that forced recently emancipated Blacks into subservient social relationships with white landowners, stating that “all persons of color who make contracts for service or labor, shall be known as servants, and those with whom they contract, shall be known as masters.” Following the Civil War and emancipation, many freed Blacks in the South remained subjugated by their former White enslavers. In South Carolina and other former slaveholding states, many freed people continued to reside in the same communities, sometimes on the same land, working for White people who had previously claimed they "owned" them as property. Freedmen had limited opportunities to earn money to support themselves and their families and often continued to work as manual laborers in slavery-like conditions. Black Codes enacted following emancipation sought to maintain White control over freedmen and perpetuated the exploitation Black people had experienced during slavery. South Carolina's Black Codes, like others, contained many laws that applied only to Blacks. The new law passed on this day required Black “servants” to work from dawn to dusk and to maintain a “polite” demeanor. South Carolina reached even further into Black laborers’ personal lives, prohibiting apprentices to marry without their masters’ permission, forbidding farmers living on their masters’ land to have visitors, and imposing a curfew. Another Black Code sought to restrict the upward mobility of the Black community by forbidding freedmen in South Carolina from pursuing any occupation other than laborer unless able to pay a $100 fee. NASTY AND CRUEL RACIST WHITE AMERIKKKAN CHRISTIANS. LOCAL SHERIFF IN TEXAS PERMITS THE LYNCHING OF A 15-YEAR-OLD BLACK BOY IN BROAD DAYLIGHT. On November 30, 1921, a mob of white men in Ballinger, Texas, seized Robert Murtore, a 15-year-old Black boy, from the custody of law enforcement and, in broad daylight, shot him to death. After a 9-year-old white girl ALLEGED that she had been assaulted by an unknown Black boy, suspicion immediately fell on Robert, who worked in the same hotel as the white girl’s mother. He was arrested and held in the Ballinger jail, but word soon spread. On the morning of November 30, a white mob formed outside of the jail in an attempt to lynch Robert. Local law enforcement removed Robert from his cell for transport away from Ballinger; it is unclear whether this was to facilitate or block the lynching. As the sheriff and Robert drove away from town, an armed mob of white men blocked the road and demanded that the sheriff turn Robert over to them. Though he was armed and charged with protecting Robert while he was in his custody, the sheriff willingly turned the Black teenager over to the mob without a fight. During this era of racial terror lynchings, it was not uncommon for lynch mobs to seize their victims out of police hands. In some cases, police officials were even found to be complicit or active participants in lynchings. In this case, instead of pursuing the mob to try to stop the lynching or identify the mob members, the sheriff left the mob to its murderous task and rode back to the station at Ballinger to report Robert’s fate. Unchallenged, the lawless mob seized Robert, drove him to a nearby grove, tied him to a post, and riddled his body with 50 bullets. A Texas newspaper described the mob as “orderly,” leaving “peacefully” after violently taking the young boy’s life. |
