Re-Open? Really?

Two hours after trump tweeted, "Re-Open the schools," Richard Corcoran, Florida's Commissioner of Education, appointed by Ron DeSantis, issued an emergency executive order requiring all of Florida's public K-12 schools to reopen in August.

Part of the executive order issued Monday, requires school districts and charter school governing boards to open brick and mortar schools at least five days per week for all students in August.

“We don’t want the guidance from the CDC to be a reason schools don’t open,” Vice President Pence said today at the sham Coronavirus Task Force press conference.
What in the HELL is the CDC--Center for Disease Control--supposed to do if not issue the guidelines and the policies for controlling the spread of diseases? Republicant logic? Mad scientist donald trump and the other "scientists" in the White House will issue "their" guidelines for re-opening schools since the ignorant president considers the CDC guidelines "too restrictive."

Mayor Bill DeBlasio announced New York schools will not re-open fully in August irrespective of what the ignoramus wants.
