Lawrence O'Donnell just read in total, on his show, The Lawrence O'Donnell Show, MSNBC-July 8, 202-the last words of George Floyd from the transcript of a police camera before he was murdered by the Minneapolis police...about 5 minutes or so, maybe more. It was hard to listen to those words. Yet, they were respectful words, and George Floyd continued to say, "Please." The police words were disrespectful police words. George Floyd words were gut wrenching as he pleaded for his life, handcuffed with his hands behind his back, laying on his stomach, on the ground. I felt anger and bitterness and rage, and could not help but imagine if it were my son, or a friend, or me. Helluva moment in Television.
