SOME POLITICAL PUNDITS are saying the election and the re-election of many Democrats and saving Democracy, depend on the Black Voter turnout. In other words, Black Voters are expected to save America from itself, and save Democracy at the same time. Of course, what is obvious, these same pundits are not saying Racist White America are responsible for Democracy hanging on "by a thread" in the first place, and America being in this "Mell of a Hess." Society cannot work without addressing the racial disparities that undermine the functioning of its democratic and social institutions. The challenge of racial justice is actually the challenge of Democracy because we can’t make society work unless we can address racial division, distrust, inequality and racism. Black America cannot save White America, AGAIN, from itself, if White American males and White American females continue to hold on to their White Privilege, their Racism, and their Core Racist Attitudes. Racism is the GREATEST THREAT to Democracy today. Correspondingly, White America has a choice, Democracy or Racism.

Don't you just "love" White folks, who support the Racist donald trump, who try to "convince" anyone stupid enough to listen, they are not Racists. The definition of a Racist.
What is so enticing about the Republicant party that would make a Black person become a member, and then run for elected office representing the party of donald j. trump? If your hue of skin is Black, in these "as yet" United States of America, Democracy is ALWAYS on the ballot. What drives a person of non-melanated descent to wear a Ku Klux Klan robe or put Black shoe polish on their faces for Halloween? I just read that a county commissioner that Gov. Ron Desantis (R) put on the majority Black Gadsden County Commission this past summer-surprise surprise-has resigned after photos allegedly showing him in a KKK robe surfaced; seriously, where is the humor in such inhumane ignorance? How Evil and Un- Christian that White folks have not-would not-will not prioritize replacing tainted and poisonous lead pipes and the toxic water they produce(d). Could it possibly be that the most prolific cases of contaminated lead pipes and the resulting toxicity to humans are based in the predominant Black cities of Flint, Michigan and Jackson, Mississippi? I passed by two pick-up trucks today which had "trump 2020" on a sticker in the back window. Apparently, they missed the 2020 news flash. I WAS HUMBLED, HONORED, AND PROUD to receive the ASALH "Living Legacy Award" this past weekend, October 1, 2022, at the ASALH National Convention in Montgomery, Alabama.
The Association for the Study of Negro Life and History (ASNLH) was founded by Dr. Carter G. Woodson in 1915. He later started Negro History Week in 1926. This Visionary saw the need to tell Black folks and White folks in this country about Black History-Negro History then- especially since an Incomplete, Dishonest, and Racist American history certainly does not tell it nor do racist textbook authors and historians accurately include the salient contributions of those with a Black hue of skin. ASNLH is now The Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH). It continues to tell the story of who we are, what we have done, and what WE continue to do-and does it ever. ASALH ALSO sets the theme for Black History Month AND the Black History theme every year. The theme for 2023 is "BLACK RESISTANCE." ASALH will hold its National Conference in Jacksonville, Florida September 20-24, 2023. GET READY, JACKSONVILLE. ONE MORE THING, THREE TIMES-
1) Egypt and Kush were the greatest civilizations in History. 2) Egypt was, and still is, on the continent of Africa or Kemet. 3) Egyptians were not, and are not, Europeans, no matter how much White folks try to make it so. I know the thought of Black intellectual dominance is such a bitter pill for White folks to swallow since Egyptian civilization(s) were so GREAT. To that extent, you continually try to make Egyptians look like you, but alas, you cannot, so you just lie. LET'S GET HISTORICALLY ACADEMIC- In the 8th century BC, or BCE for religious neutrality, Kushite rulers were crowned as Kings of Egypt, ruling a combined Nubian and Egyptian kingdom as pharaohs of Egypt’s 25th Dynasty. Those Kushite kings are commonly referred to as the “Black Pharaohs” in both scholarly and popular publications. That terminology is often presented as a celebration of Black African civilization. But it also reflects a longstanding bias that holds the Egyptian pharaohs, and their people weren’t African — that is, not Black. It’s a trope that feeds into a long history of racism that traces back to the some of the founding figures of Egyptology and their role in the creation of “scientific” racism in the U.S. But they certainly were Black. Even archeology tries to maintain racism, but, in fact, TRUTH totally blows the White Racial Superiority Meme all to H-E-Double Sticks. PASS THIS ON TO YOUR CLUELESS WHITE FRIENDS, AND YOUR EQUALLY CLUELESS BLACK FRIENDS.
The REASON we don’t have to say White Lives Matter is because White lives have ALWAYS mattered. That White Skin Privilege thing, so Reminders are not necessary. The default position in this country is White = worthiness. The same has never been true for Black people. This country was founded on Black Lives DO NOT Matter. Black Lives Matter ALSO, not instead of. You’re welcome. BANNING BOOKS IN FLORIDA-
A Florida law, passed in 2021, forbids instructional material from containing “the theory that racism is not merely the product of prejudice, but that racism is embedded in American society and its legal systems in order to uphold the supremacy of white persons,” or references to the 1619 Project, the New York Times work that focused on the role of slavery in the nation’s founding. In other words, do not make us and our White privileged feelings uncomfortable talking about our racism, and our enslaving Blacks based on the color of their skin. THE LAW PRECLUDES material which contain “culturally responsive teaching as it relates to [critical race theory]” and “social justice as it relates to [critical race theory].” THE LAW "ASKS" : Does "the book" solicit “social-emotional learning”? The inclusion of any of those topics would be grounds for elimination. TWO OF THE NEWEST ADDITIONS IN FLORIDA AND THE COUNTRY to the banned books list are: Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You by Ibram X. Kendi and Jason Reynolds. This book, published in 2020, is a New York Times best-seller that explores issues related to race, racism, and anti-racism in America. It has been banned and challenged for allegedly including "selective storytelling incidents” and not including instances of racism against all people. AND- All American Boys by Jason Reynolds and Brendan Kiely. This is the first year that the book appeared in the list of top 10 most challenged books. It tells the story of two teenage boys as they handle police brutality and racism within their community. The book has been challenged for many reasons, including drug use, profanity, alcoholism, and anti-police sentiments. AHH, BOOK BANNING IN GERMANY, ERR KKKFLORIDA AND AMERIKKKA. IN CASE YOU WERE THINKING ABOUT IT.
THE THOUGHT HAS NOT CROSSED MY MIND, YET. Here are 5 countries that will welcome any Black Americans looking to relocate abroad. 1. Costa Rica- If you’re a Black American looking to relocate to the south Caribbean, then Costa Rica is a great choice. A recent article in The Guardian highlighted a small relocation business called Life-A-Holic Costa Rica. Created by Davia Shannon in March 2016, the business focuses on guiding Black Americans through the process of relocating their lives to Costa Rica. Its unique way of life allows Blacks who’ve been indoctrinated into western world ideologies, to break free and build a life with people of the African diaspora in Costa Rica. Shannon has helped more than 170 Black and brown people from the U.S. relocate to Costa Rica. 2. Ghana- Ghana is a vibe. So much so that more than 4,000 Black Americans currently reside there. In 2019 Ghana’s president invited Blacks in the U.S to return to the county and learn about their true ancestry. 2020’s summer of Black unrest pushed even more Blacks towards wanting to relocate abroad. Although jobs are scarce in Ghana, real estate and online businesses are booming. The opportunity for Black Americans to build a life in Ghana is in abundance. 3. Senegal- If you are a Black American looking to reconnect with your roots then Senegal is another great place to relocate abroad. Its history is rich in tradition and its future looks bright. Rapper and mogul Akon is building a city there that will be a ‘safe haven’ for Blacks looking to flee racial injustices all around the world. The city plans to run entirely on solar power and will use Akon’s cryptocurrency for money. 4. Colombia- Colombia’s black population is one of the largest in the world outside of Africa, Brazil, and the U.S. It was one of the stops during the trans-Atlantic slave trade and has a rich history of Black people on its shores. Its Afro-Caribbean lifestyle is very intriguing to Blacks looking to escape western traditions. Although the country still struggles with racism, African heritage is ingrained into the culture with music and dance at its core. They also openly celebrate Afro-Colombian Day as a nation, which is the celebration of the abolition of slavery in Colombia. 5. Thailand- The Thai people are regarded as friendly folks and Black Americans who have relocated there have said they feel safer than in America. If you can deal with some occasional stares, then Thailand could be a relocation destination for you. Teaching English is always a readily available job for Americans. The cost of living is also very affordable compared to the states. Residents have easy access to affordable healthcare and healthy food. JUST IN CASE YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT IT. IT IS A GEOGRAPHICAL AND A HISTORICAL FACT that the Bible takes place "In and Around" the Continent of Africa.
So, why is it more Black Christians and Theologians do not challenge the notion of ONLY White Biblical figures and images? To let White religious types, tell the story, all of the Disciples, all angels, all Egyptians and the Pharaohs, Moses, David, Solomon, Mary, Mary Magdalene, Samson, Joseph, and of course, Jesus (to name just a few), and everybody in the Bible, were all White Europeans which was, and is, geographically, historically, and physically Impossible. Yet, stained glass windows in Black churches, church fans, illustrated "White" Bibles, television and Hollywood movies, and the thousands of images of religious figures, belie the "Blackness" in the Bible and would make one think persons in the Bible were "As White as the driven snow." We need to "reclaim" the truth about the Bible, just as we need to "reclaim" the truth about an Incomplete, Dishonest, and a Racist American History. It makes a difference when you TELL THE TRUTH about History AND the Bible. BTW-You cannot hide a "WHITE BLUE-EYED BABY" named Jesus in Egypt, on the continent of Africa. IN THE ACADEMIC ARENA there is a saying, “If it is not written down, it did not happen.” Real truthful Black history is seldom "written down" on the pages of racist White American history by racist White historians, and racist White textbook authors. Racism is also subject matter which does not make its way onto the pages of racist American history and is often treated as a taboo subject or a four-letter word. We can see this "phenomenon" with racist White elected officials misrepresenting the truth about their racism, and cowardly hiding behind their convenient and current bogeyman, Critical Race Theory, which many racists cannot define. Author and Atlantic columnist Ta-Nehisi Coates said that, for Black people in America, "Racism is a physical experience of fear and violence." Note to American history teachers, White and Black: Do not expect your Black students to absorb your history class if you do not incorporate Black history. If I sit in a classroom and only read about the contributions made by White Americans and White Europeans, then the “learning field” is never level. It is downright dishonest that American history as portrayed in history textbooks essentially makes the statement that Blacks made no salient contributions to this country. There is a reason WHY Dr. Carter G. Woodson felt the need to establish Negro History Week in 1926. Understand this, American History as taught in middle school, high school, and colleges and universities, is Incomplete, Dishonest, and Racist. My Black ancestors helped to develop this country before, during, and after slavery. And of course, MY HISTORY, THE HISTORY OF MY AFRICAN ANCESTORS Did Not begin with slavery in this country. You must teach the truth without regard to what the textbooks proclaim. You are not teaching if you do otherwise. We simply cannot afford to ignore stories about the legacy of Black history, and the legacy of the Civil Rights Movement anymore. Those who tire of hearing about Racism should ask yourselves, what if you had to live through the daily vulgarity, evil, and the pathology of White American Racism, and the Dishonesty of American History? IF YOU ARE INTIMIDATED WITH TELLING THE TRUTH, then get out of the classroom, and get out of public education administration. Mr. Rutledge Pearson, my American History teacher, the adviser to the Jacksonville Youth Council NAACP, and my mentor, armed us with the truth, irrespective of what was “written down.” Black History is who WE are. Racism is why WE fight . . . and the Struggle, is what WE must continue. DOING NOTHING is not an option. How Evil and Un- Christian that White folks have not-would not-will not prioritize replacing tainted and poisonous lead pipes and the toxic water they produce(d).
